Women's Rugby

ASU Women’s Rugby Football Club (ASUWRFC) has been a competitive sport club on ASU’s campus since 1994. The club had no wins until 1997 when Barry Carter became the head coach. Since that time the team has had been to Sweet Sixteen twice, Elite Eight once, Final Four once, and they have been the Southern California Region Champions four times.

ASU Women’s Rugby Team is a great opportunity for any female on campus. The benefits are endless, the opportunities are vast, and the memories are unforgettable. If you ask any past player from the team they will tell you that the best times of their college career were spent with the ASU Women’s Rugby Team and without this experience their life wouldn’t be the same. We encourage everyone—men or women, black, white, or yellow, young or old, to try this wonderful and addicting sport we call Rugby.
